In another huge weekend of action in what has been the most exciting SL1 for many years, Malvern City finally gave up the ghost as a 6-1 thumping against Pascoe Vale condemned them to life in the SL2 in 2011. Meanwhile Springvale’s triumph in a 7 goal thriller against Whittlesea Zebras has seen them clinch the division title.
