South Melbourne's Fernando De Moraes and Bendigo Viper's Sarah Richardson have won the Alanic Victorian Premier League and Women's Premier League Gold Medals.
De Moraes’ and Richardson’s awards concluded a fantastic night at Etihad Stadium’s Victory Room, which celebrated Victorian football’s individual and team achievements in 2010.
A stunned Sarah Richardson was overwhelmed upon accepting her award, and thanked her team mates for a fantastic season with the Bendigo Vipers in the Women’s Premier League. Women’s Premier League Gold Medal votes:

 Fernando De Moraes capped off a fantastic year of football, following up his South Melbourne FC Player of the Year Award on Thursday night with Alanic VPL Gold Medal last night. The Brazilian scored 13 goals this season to finish second behind Northcote City’s Trent Rixon for the Top Goal Scorer Award. He polled 19 votes to win the award ahead of Heidelberg’s Yanni Galanos and Melbourne Knights’ Kevin Townson. Alanic VPL Gold Medal votes:

Recently retired Victorian football champion, Danny Tiatto, was the special guest on the night, speaking about his amazing professional football career that has spanned nearly 20 years.
One of the highlights of the night was the introduction of the Football Federation Victoria Hall of Fame. Harry Dockerty, Betty Hoar and Jimmy Rooney were the first inductees into the Hall of Fame. Having integrated into Football Federation Victoria (FFV) recently, the Geelong, Bendigo and Sunraysia Life Members were formally inducted into the as FFV Life Members.
